Inspired by palettes of the landscape during a road trip up the North Island from Wellington to Northland, this body of work explores the experience of indiscernible transformations that only reveal themselves through retrospect.   Rather than focusing on abstracting forms from reality, the paintings capture an emotional resonance similar to that of waking from a dream.
